ATOS SE Highlights Continued Digital Transformation and Strategic Leadership Expansion
E‑GF Deployment Drives Financial Modernisation for Île‑de‑France
On 29 September 2026, Atos SE announced the successful rollout of the e‑GF solution across the Île‑de‑France region. The project, which began in May, represents a critical milestone in the region’s broader digital‑transformation agenda. By centralising financial management, the new platform enables the local government to oversee an annual budget of nearly €5 billion with greater precision, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
The deployment followed extensive stakeholder workshops that informed the product roadmap and interface redesign. As a result, the solution delivers a higher degree of automation and data integrity, while simultaneously reducing operational costs. Atos’ expertise in artificial‑intelligence‑driven processes underpins the solution’s capacity to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements, positioning Île‑de‑France as a benchmark for public‑sector digital innovation.
Leadership Strengthened in the Middle East and Türkiye
In a complementary development, Atos appointed Paul Potgieter as Head of Middle East & Türkiye (MET). Potgieter brings more than two decades of global technology leadership, having overseen large‑scale digital‑transformation and cloud initiatives across the Middle East, Africa, and beyond. His previous role as Corporate Services CIO for the NEOM group in Riyadh equipped him with a deep understanding of the region’s unique cybersecurity, sovereignty, and AI needs.
Atos’ EVP for International Markets, Daniele Principato, highlighted Potgieter’s blend of business acumen and technical expertise as essential to driving growth in the MET region. Under his stewardship, Atos aims to accelerate client adoption of AI, secure cloud solutions, and advanced cybersecurity services, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation in key growth markets.
