Carvana Co. Announces Strategic Expansion of PPA Pickleball Operations at Arizona Athletic Grounds

Carvana Co., the online used‑car marketplace, announced on September 17, 2026 a multi‑decade partnership with Arizona Athletic Grounds (AAG). Under the agreement, Carvana’s Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour will assume year‑round operations of AAG’s state‑of‑the‑art pickleball facility in Mesa, Arizona. The partnership will rename the venue the “PPA Campus at Arizona Athletic Grounds” and designate it as the national hub for professional and amateur pickleball competition, training, and events.

The facility, which already hosts the Carvana Mesa Cup and the Veolia Arizona Open, features 41 courts, four medal courts with spectator stands, and a covered championship stadium that seats up to 2,000 spectators. Carvana PPA Tour will continue to host marquee events and will introduce new tournaments and year‑round pro and amateur training programs.

Key points of the agreement include:

  • Operational control: PPA will manage all year‑round operations of the campus, including scheduling, maintenance, and event programming.
  • Capital investment: PPA will fund significant improvements to the campus, such as additional shade, seating, and other amenities to support continuous play.
  • Multi‑decade term: The partnership is structured for an extended period, reflecting a long‑term commitment to the growth of pickleball in the United States.

“PPA’s growth and programming expertise, combined with AAG’s state‑of‑the‑art facilities and commitment to white‑glove service, will have an enormously positive impact on the local, regional, and national pickleball community,” said Connor Pardoe, Founder and CEO of Carvana PPA Tour.
