District Metals Corp Initiates Advanced UAV Survey at Swedish Uranium Sites

In a strategic move to enhance its exploration capabilities, District Metals Corp, a junior natural resource mining company based in Canada, has embarked on a cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) radiometric and magnetic survey at its uranium polymetallic properties in Sweden. This initiative, announced on July 22, 2025, marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to uncover potential uranium-rich zones in the Ardnasvarre, Sågtjärn, and Nianfors projects located in the northern regions of Sweden.

The company has partnered with MWH Geo-Surveys International Inc., a renowned firm specializing in geophysical surveys, to conduct this detailed investigation. The survey aims to penetrate the thin layer of glacial overburden that has previously hindered detailed exploration in these areas. By employing UAV technology, District Metals Corp plans to cover over 3,200 kilometers with a line spacing of 25 to 50 meters, ensuring high-resolution data collection.

Garrett Ainsworth, CEO of District Metals Corp, emphasized the importance of this survey, stating, “Much of the Ardnasvarre, Sågtjärn, and Nianfors Properties are covered by a thin veneer of glacial overburden, which has never seen a detailed radiometric or magnetic survey. The UAV will fly relatively low to the ground with a tight line spacing of 25 or 50 m that will give us very detailed data allowing us to see subtle radiometric and magnetic anomalies.”

This innovative approach is expected to identify uranium-rich zones near the surface, where urananomalies often coincide with magnetic peaks. Following the survey, fieldwork involving sampling and mapping is anticipated to further validate the findings.

Despite the company’s current financial challenges, as indicated by a negative price-to-earnings ratio of -42.05 and a market capitalization of 134.46 million CAD, this exploration initiative could potentially unlock significant value. The close price of the company’s stock stood at 0.89 CAD as of July 21, 2025, matching its 52-week high, while the 52-week low was recorded at 0.25 CAD on September 8, 2024.

As District Metals Corp continues to explore its Swedish properties, stakeholders and investors will be keenly watching the outcomes of this UAV survey, which could pave the way for future developments in the company’s uranium exploration endeavors.
