Micro Systemation AB Reports Increased Losses Amid Revenue Growth

Stockholm, July 18, 2025 — Micro Systemation AB, a leading Swedish information technology company specializing in forensic technology for mobile device examination, has reported an increased loss for the second quarter of 2025, despite a rise in revenue. The company’s net sales for the quarter reached SEK 80.5 million, marking a 1.8% increase from the previous year’s SEK 79.1 million. However, the underlying revenue growth was more substantial, with a currency-adjusted increase of 8%, as noted by CEO Peter Gille.

The company’s operating loss for the quarter was SEK -17.4 million, compared to SEK -3.5 million in the same period last year. The loss after tax was reported at SEK -14.4 million, down from SEK -2.8 million. This financial outcome was influenced by a significant order in the EMEA region, valued at over SEK 10 million, which was delayed due to external supply chain disruptions. This order is now scheduled for delivery and revenue recognition in the third quarter.

Micro Systemation AB offers a range of forensic software solutions, including XRY logical and physical recovery tools, XRY Cloud, XRY PinPoint, and XRY Camera, among others. These products are utilized globally by law enforcement, military, and intelligence agencies to investigate crimes, gather intelligence, and combat fraud.

Despite the increased loss, the company’s cost development remains on track, with increases aligned with planned projections. Analysts have mixed expectations for the company’s future performance, with one predicting a loss per share of SEK -0.360 for the quarter, compared to SEK -0.150 in the previous year. Revenue forecasts suggest a 9.99% increase, with expected sales of SEK 87.0 million, up from SEK 79.1 million in the prior year.

For the fiscal year, one analyst anticipates a profit per share of SEK 1.78, down from SEK 2.02 in the previous year, with total revenue projected at SEK 432.0 million, compared to SEK 404.7 million last year.

Micro Systemation AB continues to navigate challenges in the global supply chain while maintaining its commitment to providing cutting-edge forensic technology solutions to its international clientele.
