SAGA Metals Corp., a company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, has recently made significant strides in its exploration efforts at the Radar Titanium-Vanadium-Iron Project located in Labrador. The company’s latest announcement highlights the results from its maiden mineral-resource-estimate drilling program, which has yielded promising assay data from six additional diamond-drill holes, numbered R-0082 to R-0087. These holes have intersected broad, consistent oxide zones rich in iron, titanium, and vanadium, underscoring the project’s potential.
The most notable finding came from hole R-0085, which recorded an extensive 500-metre interval with sustained grades of iron oxide, titanium dioxide, and vanadium pentoxide. This interval includes a high-grade segment boasting more than 60% iron oxide and 8% titanium dioxide, marking a significant milestone in the project’s development. Such results are indicative of the project’s robust mineralization potential and its capacity to contribute to North American supply security for these critical minerals.
To date, 80 of the program’s 85 drill holes have returned oxide mineralization, with laboratory analysis for the remaining five holes expected imminently. This comprehensive drilling program is a testament to SAGA Metals Corp.’s commitment to thoroughly evaluating the mineral potential of the Radar Project.
In a strategic move to ensure the credibility and accuracy of its findings, SAGA Metals Corp. has engaged GeoGlobal LLC to prepare an independent NI 43-101 mineral-resource estimate and technical report. This collaboration is crucial for validating the project’s resource estimates and providing stakeholders with a reliable assessment of its economic viability.
The company has also emphasized the significance of its Trapper Zone, which is part of a 29-square-kilometre lopolith. The Trapper Zone continues to demonstrate strong, uniform grades of the critical minerals essential for the project’s success. This consistency is a key factor in the project’s potential to secure a stable supply of these minerals within North America.
As SAGA Metals Corp. progresses with its exploration activities, the Radar Titanium-Vanadium-Iron Project stands as a beacon of opportunity in the critical minerals sector. The company’s recent drilling results and strategic partnerships position it well to advance its objectives and contribute to the broader goal of enhancing North American supply security for these vital resources.
