Orogen Royalties Inc. Secures Strategic Royalty on Camelot Copper-Gold Project

In a significant development for Orogen Royalties Inc., the company has successfully established a strategic royalty on the Camelot Copper-Gold Project, located in British Columbia, Canada. This move underscores Orogen’s ongoing commitment to expanding its portfolio of high-potential mineral assets.

On September 2, 2025, Orogen announced the signing of a purchase and sale agreement with Prospect Ridge Resources Corp. (CSE:PRR), which has acquired the Camelot project, previously known as Lemon Lake. As part of the transaction, Prospect Ridge will compensate Orogen with C$200,000 in cash or common shares over a six-month period. In return, Orogen retains a 1% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on the project, with the option to acquire an additional 0.25% NSR royalty from an underlying vendor.

The Camelot project is a fully permitted drill-ready porphyry target, characterized by the convergence of anomalous copper in soils, a magnetic high, and a strong chargeability anomaly over an inferred area of potassically altered monzonite. These geological features make it a highly attractive prospect for mineral exploration and development.

Paddy Nicol, CEO of Orogen, expressed optimism about the project’s potential, highlighting its strategic location in the Cariboo Mining district, known for its robust mining infrastructure and proximity to other significant copper-gold deposits like Gibraltar and Mount Polley.

Prospect Ridge Resources Corp., under the leadership of CEO Len Brownlie, is poised to capitalize on the project’s potential. Brownlie described Camelot as a “rare, drill-ready porphyry target hiding in plain sight,” emphasizing the company’s plans to initiate a drill program in 2025 to unlock its discovery potential.

This transaction not only enhances Orogen’s royalty portfolio but also positions it to benefit from the anticipated exploration success at Camelot. With a market capitalization of CAD 102,099,080 and a close price of 1.77 CAD as of August 28, 2025, Orogen continues to demonstrate its strategic acumen in the materials sector, particularly in the realm of royalty creation and acquisition.

As the industry watches closely, the developments at the Camelot project could significantly impact both Orogen and Prospect Ridge, potentially leading to new discoveries and further solidifying their positions in the competitive mining landscape.
