MAC Copper Limited’s shareholders have approved the company’s acquisition by Harmony Gold, with 98.43% of votes cast in favor of the deal, pending final court approval.

MAC Copper Limited has entered into a binding agreement with Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited to be acquired for approximately $1.03 billion, with shareholders set to receive $12.25 in cash per share.
